WStE500 steel plate

According to EN 10025-2, S275J2 steel plate is mainly used in the construction industry and mechanical engineering, containers, tanks and rolled steel profiles such as angle steel, steel structure, H-beam, T-section. For S275J2 carbon steel, if customers want to improve the performance of the steel when using, our engineers still recommend normalizing heat treatment. Otherwise, the steel must undergo a low-temperature impact test at -20°C.

DIN WStE500 steel plate, as for the chemical composition, the different content is mainly in the carbon content, while the carbon content is A283Gr. d is not more than 0.27%, and higher than grade C (≤0.24%); As for the mechanical properties, the difference is in tensile strength and yield strength, while ASTM A283 Gr.D has a tensile strength of 415-550MPa (60-80 ksi) and ASTM A283 D grade has a yield strength of 230MPa (33 ksi).
