Classification of cold rolled steel plates

Classification according to surface treatment:

1. Fully bright plate: The surface treatment process adopts full brightening treatment, which makes the surface of the steel plate smooth and bright, with a high gloss. It is often used in products that require beautiful appearance, such as home appliances, electronic products, etc.
2. Galvanized sheet: The surface is hot-dip galvanized and has good anti-corrosion properties. Commonly used in building materials, metal products and other fields.
3. Anodized plate: The surface is anodized to form an oxide film, which improves corrosion resistance and surface hardness. Commonly used in aerospace, electronic instruments and other fields.

Classification according to use:

1. Structural steel plates: used for structural parts that bear static and dynamic loads, such as building structures, bridges, ships, etc.
2. Container steel plate: used to manufacture pressure vessels, storage tanks and other equipment, requiring high strength and corrosion resistance.
3. Automobile sheets: used in automobile manufacturing, requiring good formability and surface quality.
4. Home appliance panels: used in the manufacture of home appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, etc., which require high surface finish and corrosion resistance.
5. Coated board: After special coating treatment, it has anti-corrosion, dust-proof, weather resistance and other properties. often

Classification according to material:

1. Carbon steel plate: Mainly composed of carbon elements and a small amount of alloy elements, it has good strength and weldability and is widely used in various fields.
2. Stainless steel plate: It has good corrosion resistance and high temperature strength and is often used in the manufacture of chemical equipment, kitchenware, etc.
3. High-strength steel plate: It has high yield strength and tensile strength and is often used in automobiles, ships and other fields to improve safety performance and load capacity.
4. Low alloy steel plate: Certain alloy elements are added to carbon steel to improve the strength and toughness of the steel plate. It is often used in bridges, construction and other fields.

Common categories:

1. Alloy cold-rolled steel plate: This special-shaped pipe steel plate is manufactured by hot-dip plating, but it is heated to about 500°C immediately after coming out of the can to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This kind of galvanized sheet has good coating adhesion and weldability;
2. Single-sided and double-sided differential cold-rolled steel plates: Single-sided cold-rolled steel plates, that is, products with only one side galvanized. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheets in terms of welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc. In order to overcome the shortcomings of not being coated with zinc on one side, there is another type of galvanized sheet that is coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, that is, double-sided differential galvanized sheet;
3. Hot-dip cold-rolled steel plate: Dip the thin steel plate into a molten zinc bath to attach a layer of zinc to the surface of the thin steel plate. At present, the production mainly adopts the continuous galvanizing process, that is, the coiled steel plate is continuously immersed in a galvanizing tank filled with molten zinc to make galvanized coils;
4. Alloy and composite cold-rolled steel plates: steel plates made of zinc, lead-zinc alloy and other metals or even composite coatings. This special-shaped pipe steel plate not only has excellent anti-rust properties, but also has good coating properties;
5. Electrically heated cold-rolled steel plate: Cold-rolled steel plate for special-shaped pipes manufactured by electroplating method, which has good processing performance. However, the coating is thin and its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized sheets.

In addition to the above classifications, cold-rolled steel plates can be divided into general use, roof use, building exterior panels, structural use, corrugated sheets, deep drawing and deep drawing.
