What is a galvanized chequer plate?
Galvanised chequered plates, also known as checker plates, are made from low carbon steel which are zinc coated. One side of the galvanised chequered plate is arranged with a regular pattern of raised diamonds or lines, while the other side is plane. The raised pattern provides an anti-slip effect which lends them well to being used for flooring, ramps and deck boards in industrial settings. The features of corrosion resistance and weather resistance with aesthetic surface treatment make it suitable for architectural outdoor uses.
Where a chequered plate can be used?
Owing to its skid-proof and attractive features, chequered plate has been widely used during everyday life. In engineering and construction industry, chequer plate is widely applied in construction sector for stair treads, platform and walkways as well as automobile and agricultural sectors. In enterprises, especially shops, stairs and catwalks usually employ chequered plate to protect workers' safe. Besides, modern people take it as a fashion decoration element.
