Cold rolled oriented silicon steel sheet
The main use of
cold-rolled oriented silicon steel strip is for transformer manufacturing, so it is also called cold-rolled transformer silicon steel. Compared with
cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel, the magnetism of oriented silicon steel has strong directionality; it has superior high magnetic permeability and low loss characteristics in the rolling direction that is easy to magnetize. The iron loss of the oriented steel strip in the rolling direction is only 1/3 of the transverse direction, and the magnetic permeability ratio is 6:1. Its iron loss is about 1/2 of the hot-rolled strip, and the magnetic permeability is 2.5 times that of the latter. .
coating:
The surface insulating coating of oriented silicon steel is divided into three categories: organic coating, inorganic coating and semi-inorganic coating. The basic components of inorganic coatings are phosphate coatings and aluminum phosphate-based coatings with colloidal silica, magnesium oxide and boric acid added. Inorganic coatings have good heat resistance and welding properties, but their punchability and adhesion are poor. The basic components of semi-inorganic coatings are phosphates, chromates, latex resin solutions, dispersion accelerators and surfactants, among which dispersion accelerators and surfactants play an important role in the quality of the coating. Semi-inorganic coatings have good punchability and adhesion, but their heat resistance and weldability are not as good as inorganic coatings.
A coating
A coating is a semi-organic thin coating with excellent punching properties, corrosion resistance, Freon resistance and inter-layer resistance, especially welding performance. It is suitable for medium and small motors and household appliances.
The EI core of motors and small transformers is equivalent to Sichuan Railway's A1 coating and Wuhan Iron and Steel's T4 coating.
H coating
H coating is a semi-organic thick coating with excellent punching properties, corrosion resistance, Freon resistance and inter-layer resistance, and is suitable for medium and small motors. It is equivalent to Sichuan Railway's A1 coating and Wuhan Iron and Steel's T4 coating.
D coating
D coating is an inorganic coating. This coating has excellent weldability and heat resistance. It is suitable for medium and small motors, especially for stress relief annealing at higher temperatures. Equivalent to AISI's C-4 coating and WISCO's T3 coating.
Unless otherwise specified, the surface insulation coating designed for steel types is A coating.
The energy loss caused by the iron core of the transformer is called iron loss. The iron loss includes two parts, hysteresis loss and eddy current loss. Hysteresis loss is the loss caused by "internal friction" during the repeated magnetization process of the iron core. It is related to the properties of the iron core material (permeability, coercive force). Eddy current loss is caused by the Joule heat generated by the induced current in the iron core - the eddy current. The iron core made of thin silicon steel sheets coated with insulating paint can greatly reduce the eddy current loss.
The size of the iron loss is not only related to the iron core itself, but also related to the size of the power supply voltage. When the power supply voltage is constant, the iron loss is basically a constant quantity, independent of the size and nature of the load current, so the iron loss is basically equal to its no-load loss.
